Boy do I love this house!   I’m so excited to be sharing with you my latest Homearama 2016 model  The Captiva from Pride Mark Homes located at  the picturesque Wilshire Hill in Pittsford, NY.  Homeowners in search for a vacation like retreat will book a long term reservation at the Captiva. This rustic farmhouse inspired creation is designed to rejuvenate and inspire with its bright open floor plan emphasizing casual living with all the bells and whistles.   With porches anchoring the front and backside, this two bedroom 2 bath resident is sure to turn heads of admirers who are eager to explore this 2,013 square foot beautiful stone, shake, and siding home.

Island pendants: Basford 6 light by Kichler in distressed gray antique finish with weathered zinc arms. Mini pendant over counter work space is Kichler Brinley vintage one light pendant in old bronze finish. Brito Tresa Farm Faucet in ORB. I just love this new cabinet finish from INDE Showplace cabinets. Its a white cabinet with a gray graphite glaze. I nice alternative to the stark white. I chose this in a matte finish and the gray highlights accentuate the cabinets details.  Quartz Countertops in Calcutta Vicenza with an eased edge. Richelieu Classic Metal drop pulls and knobs in oiled rub bronze.

The master bath is a simply gorgeous escape accented with spa like features and is appointed with a large beautiful tile walk in shower. oversized beveled white subway tiles and carrera marble floor and accents give this a clean and classic look. A large double sink vanity and spacious walk-in closet offers continued function and style with creative storage solutions.  Showplace cabinetry in Hickory Covington Wide with a Lockport Gray wash in Matte Finish.  Nickel Richelieu cabinet hardware.       Hi Patty. Thank you so much. The jute rug was purchased at Pottery Barn. If you attended the Homearama and would like to purchase that rug it will be for sale on Monday from 9Am until 2 Pm. You do not need to pay to get in. We are having a sale of most of the furnishings. Thank you!

    Love the decorating, especially master bedroom paint color. What finish is that and also, the branch/bird hanging in the kitchen eating area, where might that be available to purchase?

      Hi Pat- The sheen is flat but I would recommend an eggshell finish if you want to be able to csh it. The bird hanging is for sale tomorrow morning from 9am until 2 pm with no entrance fee.     Hi, Amie! I loved The Captiva at Homearama this year…what a beautiful home! What is the tile used in the back hall and laundry room…loved the wood-look plank tiles mixed with the patterned tiles! Thanks!

      Hi Karen- I’m not sure of the manufacturer but the wood tile is call Crate Charred Bark 6 by 24 and the stone tiles are Stone Claire Ashen 13″ by13″. so glad you liked it!

      HI Suzanne- The hood is all wood and it matches the wood on the island. Its super gorgeous. I’m going to be installing another one very similar in my current model that Im working on. I hope that you subscribe to the blog so that you can get a peek of it before it opens!
