My clients and friends are always asking me if I teach art classes. This past summer a good friend asked me if I was familiar with the trend of painting parties?  She told me “You should have one!” So I decided to have a Christmas themed painting party and invite some good clients and artsy friends to one at my home. Here’s how it went….

I sent out and informal e-vite to 12 friends and headed to Michael’s for my supplies…

Canvases in bulk packs, squeeze bottles of paints, metallic mesh runner, mason jar mugs, candy canes, some new brushes, mini glass ornaments and Marry Christmas tags found in the dollar bin. (I had the plate stands and extra brushes)

Total cost for art supplies just over $100.  Setting the Table…..

Each friend got to take home a mason jar mug, paintbrushes, and a mini ornament along with their canvas

And They're Off

And They’re Off. I guide the girls as to what to do first. We have hair dryers on hand to speed up the drying process

On a side note…. All the women brought non-perishable goods to be donated to a local food pantry. I ordered a sheet pizza, made light appetizers,  had plenty wine and other drinks on hand. We had a wonderful night! Hope that you try one too.
